Riddles
I wrote these riddles late at night while playing Neopets in the Ayer guild back in 2007. Click each riddle for its answer.
Something seems to slow but cannot stop,And controls the speed of all,
Which is invisible yet can be seen,
That stands alongside space but seems so small,
Whose captor has but a face and 3 arms?
The answer should set off real alarm...
I am he who is master,
Who controls every thing,
Whose mind runs faster,
And makes words sting.
He who runs through hill and dale,
and alongside the spiked snail.
The one who does not dream,
but rather makes the image flow,
and only you can make it seem...
as if you were standing there to take the blow,
from the fury of a thousand magical beams.
Who consumes all but one.
What can be vanquished by none.
Even all those living, those dead,
only a single being can,
Never has eternal reign over the night,
Yet can be any size or shape,
Many people fear it...are they right?
Something disguised as its captor,
and is vanquished by the sun.
Which is fiercer than a raptor,
and whose icy bite can stun,
Its pressure will force you down.
In most of the world,
it wears the crown.
